# Temporal Quest: End of the Year Edition

## Event Overview

The **Wandering Quest Event** is here! Hunt down mysterious **Wandering Merchants** hidden across the world and trade your collected items for amazing rewards!

Talk to the **Wandering Quest Info** NPC in **Prontera (150, 182)** to learn more about the event and see what items are available!

## How It Works

## Wandering Merchant Locations

Every time the event starts or merchants respawn, **4 Wandering Merchants** appear randomly in these 8 possible locations:

| **Prontera Field** (prt\_fild08)    | Large grassy field south of Prontera |
| **Prontera Maze** (prt\_maze01)     | Hedge maze - tricky to find!         |
| **Prontera Maze 3** (prt\_maze03)   | Another section of the maze          |
| **Mjolnir Mountains** (mjolnir\_02) | Mountain pass area                   |
| **Payon Forest** (pay\_fild02)      | Dense forest area                    |
| **Sograt Desert** (moc\_fild02)     | Desert wilderness                    |
| **Prontera** (prontera)             | Prontera city itself                 |
| **Comodo Beach** (cmd\_fild01)      | Coastal beach area                   |

## Merchant Movement Mechanics

**Important Notes:**

* Merchants spawn at **random coordinates** within each map
* When a player finds a merchant, it will **move to a new location** after **30 seconds**
* All merchants **auto-rotate every 10 minutes** even if not found
* The merchant **rotates direction** every 3 seconds to help you spot them!
* When you complete an exchange, the merchant **immediately moves** to a new location

## Item Preview Feature

For costume/headgear rewards, you can **preview** how the item looks on your character before exchanging!

* Click "Preview item..." in the menu
* The costume will appear on your character temporarily
* Preview automatically resets after 5 seconds

## Anti-Abuse Protection

To ensure fair play:

* Each device can only claim the **same reward item** up to **2 times** (across different characters)
* All exchanges are logged for review

#### Tips

* Check the **Info NPC** in Prontera for current merchant locations!
* Merchants rotate direction - look carefully on large maps
* **Any merchant** can complete **any exchange** - find the closest one!
* When someone finds a merchant, it's announced server-wide
* After you exchange, the merchant moves immediately - share the location with friends first!
