Hello and Welcome to XileRO!

In an effort to better help newbies who have found themselves on our server, we've made an all in one intro guide for you. It's all a work in progress as we gather information that seems relevant to the custom features and mechanics found here on XileRO\~\

## Guild Registration

The **Guild Registration System** allows guilds to register for War of Emperium tournaments. Any guild member can register their guild at this NPC.

**Features:**

* **Information** - View system status and number of registered guilds
* **Register My Guild** - Any guild member can register their guild for tournaments
* When the system is enabled, only registered guilds can enter WoE castle maps

The **Guild Recruitment Board** allows players to browse active guild listings and join guilds directly without needing an invitation from guild officers.

* **Auto-Join** - Join guilds directly through the NPC (no invitation needed)
* **Password Protection** - Guild leaders can optionally set a password for their guild
* **Job Class Filter** - Guilds can specify which job classes they're recruiting
* **Level Requirements** - Guilds can set minimum Base/Job level requirements
* **Language & Town** - Guilds can specify their main language and home town

**For Guild Leaders:**

* **List Your Guild** - Create a recruitment listing with custom message, requirements, and optional password
* **Manage Listing** - Update your welcome message, requirements, language, town, or password at any time
* **Remove Listing** - Take down your recruitment post when no longer recruiting

So you've just landed here and you have no clue where to go first.\

There are some things you can do to make yourself a little more powerful before setting out on your journey. First being to join a Clan. [Clans](/content/pvp-content/clans.md) are NPC owned guilds that offer special buffs.\
Clans are perfect for newbies and for players that don't want to be a part of a guild just yet.

While our focus isn't by any means who can be the cutest or coolest, it is fun to dress up. It doesn't matter who you are and what you'll like. There is a costume out there you are bound to enjoy\~

## PK Mode On

We are a PK Mode On server, which means once you reach level 11 any player can kill you. We feel that adds a little thrill to an otherwise PvM based game.\
So in your PvM travels it is always smart to carry a Demi-Human aimed weapon and some good Demi-Human/Long Range resistance armor(s).

For your Weapon, we suggest the following depending on your class;

* [Broken Monkey Fist Card](#starter-package-account-bound) / [Monkey Fist Card](/content/pvm-content/custom-monsters.md) (MFC)

The [Starter Package](#starter-package-account-bound) contains 4x Broken Monkey Fist Cards, which are a lesser effect version of our custom [Monkey Fist Card](/content/pvm-content/custom-monsters.md) (MFC).\
Hydra Card increases damage to Demi-Human race (Players) by 20% per card and Monkey Fist Card (MFC) increased All stats by 10.

For your Armor(s), we suggest the following;

* **Headgear**: [Broken Bloody Knight Champion Card](#starter-package-account-bound) / [Bloody Knight Champion Card](/content/pvm-content/custom-monsters.md) (BKCC)

The [Starter Package](#starter-package-account-bound) contains 6x Broken Bloody Knight Champion Cards, which are a lesser effect version of our custom [Bloody Knight Champion Card](/content/pvm-content/custom-monsters.md) (BKCC).\
It is unlikely you'll get your hands on a Ghostring Card right out the gates but the [Starter Package](#starter-package-account-bound) contains a Broken Ghostring Card, which increases resistance to Neutral Property attacks by 40%. So it's good to wear that for PvE until you find a better alternative.\
Horn Card reduces damage from Long Range attacks by 35%, a good resistance card for ranged classes. Melee would call for a Thara Frog Card to reduce damage from DemiHuman monster by 30%.\
Lastly for Garment is Noxious Card to reduce damage from Long Range attacks by 10% and increase Resistance to Neutral attacks by 10%.

## Gearing Up

Likely one of the most important areas of ANY server is what gear to use. Here on Retro we have 4 Tiers of gear types: Uber, Elite, Godly, and Godly v2.

**Uber Points** are XileRO's premium currency obtained through [donations](/mechanics/uber-shop.md). Almost ALL gear across every tier can be purchased from the [Uber Shop](/mechanics/uber-shop.md) using Uber Points, making it the fastest way to gear up!

Godly v2 Gear, aka Tier 4, represents the ultimate upgrades. These are enhanced versions of the Little Devil and Infinity sets, obtained through exchange NPCs in Yuno.
